Well, well, well...Dr. McIntyre is, indeed, alive. My apologies for the
multi-week absence...and my apologies for this week's abbreviated edition. I
promise to be back to normal next week...might even throw in a special edition
or two to make up it all...
The 4th of July is just two days away, but I encourage you to remember that it
is actually called Independence Day. We are free to do a lot of things in this
country and we should remember that, if not every day, over the holiday weekend.
For all the negativity in the media, this weekend offers us a ray of light into
the darkness. Enjoy your weekend and make it memorable for good reasons...
Two things to talk about today...
Freedom and Independence
These are two themes that should play predominant roles in your healthcare
decision making. So, take advantage of that freedom. Be independent in your
thinking when it comes to making choices about your health. Use the resources
available to you. The internet has provided us with thousands of resources at
the click of a button. I recently launched my website, www.atlas4wellness.com to
be an additional resource for you. If you read the introduction on the home
page, you'll gain some interesting insight into how Upper Cervical came to be
and how it differs from traditional chiropractic, as well as other healthcare
models.
Another great resource is www.mercola.com. I frequent this website a few times a
week. It was created by a Medical Doctor and he provides some interesting
insight. I liken the site to being the "Entertainment Tonight" of the internet
healthcare world. All the latest on the stuff you might want to know about
healthcare...
Bottom line...you are free to make choices outside the realm of drugs and
surgery...just check it out...
Condition of the Week: Neck pain
At the Upper Cervical Health Centers, we offer brochures about how Upper
Cervical Care is able to help so many different conditions. From high blood
pressure to diabetes to headaches to sleep disorders (and so on and so forth),
we've got it all. And then I noticed one that we don't have a brochure on neck
pain...
Neck pain is one of the most simple conditions that we have tremendous success
with. The specificity of how we make a correction to the upper neck just makes
Upper Cervical care perfect for those with any kind of neck pain. Our procedure
is gentle, with no twisting, turning, or cracking of the neck.
Simply put, a misalignment to the top of the neck causes compensatory problems
in the other areas of the neck, magnifying neck pain. Correcting the
misalignment to the top of the neck removes the compensations and effectively
eliminates neck pain (and very quickly).
Thinking good things for you all!
Dr. Chad
