Well, April came and went and this year continues to fly by... The weather is getting warmer (in most places, anyway) and summer is upon
us, which quite frankly has me in a particularly good mood.
So, I thought I'd have a little fun today.
Borrowing from Dr. Ray Drury, co-founder of Upper Cervical Health Centers
of America, I thought I'd compare the movement toward alternative healthcare to
a classic movie that, if you haven't seen, you need to get your spine checked
immediately...that'd be "Braveheart."
At the Upper Cervical Evolution conference that I attended two weeks ago,
Drury made the comparison and played the clip from "Braveheart" where
William Wallace addressed his Scottish countrymen and called his would-be troops
to order with a passionate oration about freedom.
Here I am, folks...rounding you, my troops, to order.
Understand that what I've been preaching about since day 1 is not
something you either agree or disagree with, because while I've included a lot
of subjective commentary along with it, the main points to my emails have all
been TRUTH. The state of healthcare
today is horrible...it is because of this country's false mindset that taking
pills cures or prevents illness rather than masking it...and that Upper Cervical
care frees up the body's natural ability to heal itself...all of this is truth.
Ignore all of Going back to Braveheart...I happen to be comparable to one of the Scots
who is trying expose the reality of things and being slaves to the English.
Read the following quote from the movie: William Wallace: I AM
William Wallace! And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of
tyranny. You've come to fight as free men... and free men you are. What will you
do with that freedom? Will you fight? Veteran: Against that? No!
We will run. And we will live. William Wallace: Aye, fight
and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your
beds, many years from now, would you be willing' to trade ALL the days, from
this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell
our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!
Sure, maybe not the most appropriate quote for what I'm trying to get
across. The message, though, is that
we have the freedom to go against the juggernaut that is the pharmaceutical
companies and tell them that they can continue to push the wrong message about
healthcare, but we aren't going to stand for it any longer.
We're going to rise up against them and show them the light.
Much like the English, these companies don't know that they are doing
anything wrong...but neither do the car companies that continue to build gas
guzzling SUVs and neither do the traditionalists in college football that just
rejected the 4-team playoff that is so desperately needed (had to get my sports
reference in there) and neither do the fast food companies who are pushing food
that is ABSOLUTELY horrible/part of the reason why this country is one of the
most obese in the world. It takes a
strong movement, persistence, and unity to make change.
THAT CHANGE IS COMING. I AM If you choose not to, then aye, you can make that choice...you can choose
to accept how things are, thinking among other things that "this doesn't
affect you and that the current state is just fine."
But many years from now, would you be willing to trade ALL the days, from
this day to that, for one chance, just ONE chance, to come back and know that
you helped a movement that is going to save the lives of millions, change the
life of millions, and make this a better place to live for your children's
children and their children and so on? The
enemy can pollute your mind, but they can never take...YOUR FREEDOM! I hope all of you have an awesome weekend...think good things, ladies and
gentlemen... - PS- I'm Scottish... |
